Pontoon boat trailer guides
Pontoon trailer guides are a great advantage when loading your pontoon boat on to its trailer, especially in windy or high current conditions. Unlike sport boat trailer guides that line up on the outside of the boat, pontoon trailer guides work by sticking up from your trailer inside of the pontoons. This allows you to drive onto your trailer even at a slight angle and still have the pontoons align correctly with your trailer bunks. When installing or adjusting your pontoon trailer guides make sure to leave at least 4-6 inches between the guides and your pontoon. If you place the guides too close to the pontoons you stand a chance of denting your pontoons if you are not perfectly straight when driving onto the trailer. Leaving a little extra room will allow the pontoons not to jam into the guides but still line you up on your bunks. There are 2 types of pontoon trailer guides, roller and bunk, either one will work just fine.
